The Edelman Group, a design, marketing and advertising firm in midtown, Manhattan, is looking for design interns for the fall. Candidates should be undergraduates pursuing a design education. Mac proficiency, including strong Flash and HTML skills, concept development skills, and eagerness to learn are critical.
This is an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio and gain valuable experience working on high profile projects for real clients.
Hours can be tailored around school and work schedules, but a commitment of at least 15 hours per week is expected.
This is an UNPAID internship; however, there is potential for paid work after the internship ends.
Typical internship experiences include:
•Attending project kickoff meetings
•Participating in concept development
•Developing designs along with the design team
•Preparing design work for presentation to clients
•Working with client feedback
•Learning proper document setup for print production
•Building QuarkXpress, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills
•Researching, managing and purchasing stock photography
